Charles Aranguiz waiting for Arsenal and Chelsea to firm up interest after Marseille bid

The Chilean would prefer a Premier League move, assures his agent, but is sitting tight as Arsenal mull over their options

Arsenal are following developments on Copa America winner Charles Aranguiz, with the Chilean set to move this summer.
The Gunners are long-term admirers of Aranguiz, but Chelsea and Olympique Marseille are also understood to be interested in taking the versatile playmaker.
Currently at Internacional in Brazil, the 26 year-old looks set to move to Europe this summer after impressing at last summer's World Cup and then in Chile's Copa America triumph.
And after a solid bid from Marseille, Aranguiz's agents are waiting to hear from his English suitors before making a decision.
"Aranguiz prefers the Premier League," said Cesar Behling, one of the player's representatives.
"But Marseille and Ligue 1 also have a great reputation and can't be ruled out."
Marseille coach Marcelo Bielsa was Aranguiz's manager at international level during his spell as Chile boss, but whether he can be reunited with 'Prince Charles' is likely to hinge on whether Arsenal are keen to add to their already bloated midfield corps
