
Mrs Ejor was abducted on July5 and her body discovered at a remote village near Eagle Island, a port Harcourt Suburb, on July 7.
Chairman Felix Obuah described Mrs. Ejor's killing as unwarranted, barbaric and shocking. He said her abduction and death had political undertones.
Obuah urged the state police command and other security agencies to tighten security across the state.
He said the police should expose those behind the dastardly act and other criminal activities.
The PDP chairman advised parents, guardians, churches and corporate organisations to join the government in the fight against crime.
