Chelsea Reveal New Adidas Home Kit

Chelsea have launched their new home shirt for the 2015-16 Premier League season with sponsors Yokohama Tyres, with Diego Costa the leading man during the promotional campaign.
The champions' new strip comes with the motto: 'If it's not blue it will be,' as adidas and Chelsea look to focus on the players' determination to dominate domestic and European football.
The shirt will be worn on the club's pre-season tour to the US, with games against the New York Red Bulls, Barcelona and PSG, with a formal reveal at a grass roots football event in Harlem on 21st July.

Costa, Oscar, Jon Terry, Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and Willian all heavily feature in the promotional photos and videos as they show their support for the eye-catching shirt.
Interestingly, Ruben Loftus-Cheek is involved in the short video clip, not long after he was criticised by Jose Mourinho for his poor performance against Sydney in a post-season friendly.
Chelsea will first wear the kit in the Premier League when they face Swansea at Stamford Bridge on the opening day of the season on August 8.

It could well be the first time the fans get to see new boy Radamel Falcao wear the shirt as he looks to prove his doubters wrong and become a success at the London club.
The design stays loyal to tradition, taking inspiration from several classic 1980s shirts by using several features which made these kits fan favourites.
The 2015-16 shirt also includes a truly unique feature, a finger print woven onto a label on each shirt. The fingerprint is a symbol of each individual’s iden

tity and by placing this on the shirt is a move by adidas to closer connect the fans to the club.
Chelsea’s deal with Yokohama is even more massive than the deals currently in place at Europe’s biggest, richest and most financially savvy clubs - Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich. That trio have current agreements respectively with Emirates, Qatar Airways and Deutsche Telekom each worth around €30m per year, or about £25m a year at the exchange rates in place at the time.
The new deal shows the earning potential for ‘super clubs’ with genuine global followings, and highlights the nature of the Premier League as so many foreign companies seek to use English football to sell their businesses to an international audience.
